Hiking Tales from Mountain Trails

Grab your backpack, walking stick, and put your hiking boots on because we are going to hit the trail that leads to nearly 10 years of adventures presented through twice told tales of the appalachian trail, and beyond. Join UMM in welcoming our very own Clayton Webster, aka, “Trail Boss,” along with the support of members of the Over the Hill Hikers, share more stories collected while exploring the beauty of God’s hill country. Come see what they have seen since their last visit in 2010.They bring the gift of Georgia mountain barbecue all the way from famous Poole’s Barbecue in Ellijay. Enjoy a deliciously catered dinner of  barbecue pork sandwich, choice of 2 mouthwatering sides, beverage, and Darv’s world class chocolate e’clair puddin’.This special dinner comes with a special price: $10.00. Reservations are required and may be made in Sunday school by Sunday, March 4, Midweek, 9.35 worship, portico entrance, Grand Hall signup sheets, in person, or by calling the church office (404-636-7558) by close of business friday, March 9, or online (www.ogumc.org) by noon Saturday, March 10. The OHHG have invested the work and the shoe leather, so come on in and enjoy a mountain hike from the comfort of Fellowship Hall.
