Senior Adult Ministry provides opportunities for senior adults to

- Grow in their faith and relationship with God
- Enjoy fellowship with one another
- Serve persons in need

Oak Grove United Methodist Church welcomes and invites senior adults to participate in the life of the congregation. Senior adults are actively involved in Sunday school and worship and hold positions of leadership in the congregation. Senior adults at Oak Grove witness to their faith in Jesus Christ by giving freely and reverently of their time, talents, resources, and wisdom.  

Senior Adult Ministry is currently led by our Associate Pastor, Rev. Mary Lou Gilbert, and the Senior Adult Ministry Team.

Tuesday Lunch Bunch Join us for a fellowship meal and program. The meal is $7.00. Reservations are due by noon the Monday before and may be made by calling the church office.

Trips for fun and education

“Blessing of a New Home” When someone finds it necessary to move to a new residence, let us know and we can “bless” this new home.

Celebration of Life and Longevity Once a year we recognize our members age 90 and over. If you qualify, please click HERE and email us or call the church office so we can include you in our celebration!

Family Finders Join with others to do genealogy research.

Homebound Ministry Our homebound members receive cards throughout the year and a special gift of a Christmas poinsettia and an Easter lily.
