Oak Grove UMC is excited for you to meet our new Children's Ministry Assistant, Omarr Dansby, an enthusiastic Morehouse college grad from Stone Mountain, Georgia with a strong connection towards faith, intentional communities, and service. Omarr loves being a part of creating inciting environments that are conducive to learning, as well as building and maintaining a personal relationship to our God. If you ever see him outside of the church, he is either with is kitten (Pierre), his dog (Aza),or finding some valuable clothing pieces through thrifting. At Oak Grove United Methodist, he hopes to create lasting connections and memories that cant be cherished for a lifetime. In his own words, "I am uber excited to be joining this organization and providing assistance in any way possible." Fun facts about Omarr: "I love fashion/clothing - being able to create your own style/be expressive is rewarding. I am proficient in the German language - I started taking German at nine years old until my second year of college."
