Elizabeth, Matt, & their two children, ClaraRose (15) and Oliver (13) are coming from Simpsonville, a Greenville, SC, suburb (or can just say Greenville). Elizabeth adores her family & enjoys the arts, nature, & soaking up seminary knowledge at Candler. Matt, originally from the NY/NJ area, comes from the corporate side of the pro-hockey world (extra: & was grateful to be a manager with the NY Rangers when they won the Stanley Cup in ’94. He currently coaches the Clemson University Club Hockey team.) They enjoy music & traveling, (extra: and a funny memory is visiting Iceland where they realized their favorite thing to do was to relax in natural hot springs and marvel at God’s amazing creation.) Oliver plays hockey & the piano, loves the outdoors, & is a friend to all. ClaraRose plays the harp, sings, draws, & loves babysitting. They all love their 1-year-old puppy, Shakespeare! She is a rescue pup who loves belly rubs & wrestling with her leash at the end of a walk. They are all looking forward to meeting the families of Oak Grove UMC and becoming a part of the local community. Elizabeth especially is excited to connect with the children and start having fun, faith-building experiences that carry out God’s mission!
