Staff Profile

Originally from Western Kentucky, Krisy has a background in pediatric nursing and research with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and dual Master's degrees in Nursing and Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University. She considers her career as a nurse having fulfilled a call to ministry. As an ongoing commitment to her calling, she is engaging in furthering her education to support new directions in her ministry. She has a curiosity about the mystery of faith and love of nature that draws her to the outdoors. Krisy lives in Sagamore Hills with her husband and 2 daughters. Krisy's mom is also a regular attender and active participant in the Oak Grove UMC community. Krisy is thrilled to be in ministry with the faithful and vibrant Senior Adult community at OGUMC!
