Please join us for lunch bunch on Tuesday, September 6th! We will meet at 11:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall for lunch and a program to follow. This month our Senior Adult Ministry Director Kara Johnson is going to host with a Top 5 List and a Q&A. What does this even mean? It means that no one knows what they don't know until they need to know it. What do you need to know if you are hospitalized? What levels of care exist in different senior communities? I'm worried about my memory - is it normal or should I be concerned? And more! Come and join the conversation, fellowship and community!
Be a part of a community who cares at Oak Grove UMC. Darkness to Light: Stewards of Children training is a required pathway to ministry every three years for all who serve in youth and children's ministry. Additionally, we recommend that the whole Oak Grove community--members and those in our neighborhood--take this training because training everyone is the most effective tool to stop child sexual abuse. So that folks can step into the training cycle more often, in 2022, we are offering more opportunities to train in person and synchronously on Zoom. We strongly encourage you to start get on the training pathway now so that as ministry opportunities arise, you are equipped to go serve!
